Our teacher trainees providing special remedial programmes for the students of our model school .
Wide range of transactional strategies adopted for the effective implementation of curriculum. Apart from that special session/extension talk by experts/resource persons from outside are also arranged. Students clubs and cells like Debate club, Music and Folklore club, BhomitraSena, Science club, Literary club, Women cell, Anti ragging cell, Grievance redressal cell,IQAC, Internal complaint committee etc. are functioning in the college under the supervision and guidance of faculty.
College of Teacher Education Thodupuzha founded in 1994 is a premier institute of Teacher Education,presently run by a society called Centre for professional and Advanced studies (CPAS) established by the Govt.of Kerala headed by the Ministry of Higher Education in the year 2017 by incorporating all self-financing institutions run by Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam from 1994 onwards

The College is offering two years B.Ed Programme with an intake of 50 students in every year in Malayalam Education, Mathematics Education, Physical Science Education, Natural Science Education and Social Science Education.Admission to the Course is purely on merit basis adhering the norms and the rules of reservation of Mahatma Gandhi University and Govt. of Kerala.
